MESSAGE- Raffles Design Institute,ChangZhou DEAN
It’s been some years since we entered a new millennium. The forces of globalization and ‘internationalization’ are stronger than ever. Today’s generation, straddling the previous and the current century, face a stiff test of their resolve and skills, but are also presented with a treasure lode of potential and opportunities. With economic conditions changing as furiously as they are, China need a new generation that are dynamic and adaptable. China’s national education system has the nation well, but the time has come for education to reinvent itself to meet today’s needs. The Raffles Group is among the pioneers in importing advanced education practices and principles into China.
Raffles Group comes under the management of Singapore Raffles Education Corporation, an institution renowned throughout the Asia-Pacific for its design education. It was set up in 1990 and has since become a top public-listed company. In fifteen short years, the Group has set up colleges in Singapore, Australia, Thailand, Malaysia, India as well as in China, including cities like Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Ningbo, Huizhou, Changchun and Changzhou. The Raffles Education Corporation has grown into a leading player in the business of turning out outstanding designers and business professionals in diverse disciplines such as design, fashion and business administration.
Raffles Design Institute ,Changzhou was established on 1 July 2004 as a collaboration between the Raffles College Group and Changzhou Textile Garment Institute offering the following six diplomas: Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Interior Design, Business Administration and Fashion Marketing and Management. The College inherits the Raffles College Group’s vast experience in design and offers students a unique learning environment in the form of the expertise and experience of its foreign lecturers as well as cutting-edge educational practices and curriculum. Students will also benefit from our English cum Chinese Language instructional policy, our emphasis on real-world applications, as well as strong links with renowned educational institutions around the world.
Our College has made it our goal to develop and produce the best graduates in the design and business fields. I welcome all those who wish to join us and pledge that, hand in hand, we will each fulfill our dreams
